To start things off I'd like to talk about how excited SOT is about the upcoming season. This season is looking very promising already and the first game is still over a week away. Everyone playing is geared up and ready for an exciting game of paintball Saturday, April, 12 at SOT field. Make sure you mark your calendars for all the events this year and continue to check back for any updates or changes. Games are played rain or shine unless notified here on the site. Today we Review the Metadyne RIS shroud for the A5 flatline. Milled from a solid piece of aluminum it's extremely durable and contours with the A5. I personally own one and use it on my main gear set. There is some assembly required. All you have to do is disassemble your existing flatline and install the barrel into the shroud. It can be a little tricky because there's a small screw under the main screw that holds the breach adapter to the original shroud. You also have to line the barrel up so the arc of the barrel is perfectly inline with the marker or else your ball will hook towards the left or right. I would suggest assembling it somewhere where you can test fire the marker so it's lined up perfect. I've used it for most of my games last year and I have never had a problem with it.
Pros: Sleek design, strong construction, and looks awesome at the same time. Cons: Tends to make your A5 feel front heavy, it does weight a little more then the stock shroud because it's made out of solid Aluminum.
