Hello everyone, the Sons of Thunder would just like to remind you all that the first game of the season will be held this Saturday, April 18th. We would love to see everyone out there, because its been a long winter and we're all dying to get out and play, so the bigger the game the better. This first game will be held out at Christ the Rock, however we are hoping to get out to Shiocton by the second game. Just like last season we will be meeting at Scheels Sports in the Fox River Mall at 9:45am that morning, and caravaning out at 10:15. The person to find will be Josh, who drives a silver Mazda, and he'll be parked somewhere in the back end of the parking lot (which means he'll be the only person in the middle of nowhere in the parking lot). Just a little addendum to this update. This upcoming game will be hosted at Christ the Rock, as it states above, however our event will not be the only one happening there this Saturday. Due to this parking may be sparse and we have a specific area to park in. The picture below shows our area for parking, and Highway 114 is at the bottom of the picture to give perspective of the parking lot and where we will be situated.

Also due to the parking situation it will be a decent walk from the parking lot to the area where we will be playing. We know that this is an inconvienence, but its something that will affect all of us. We wanted to let everyone know this in advance and apologize for the inconvienence that it causes. We are hoping that our normal field in Shiocton will be dry enough to play at for the second game, but that depends on the weather between now and then, however we will keep everyone updated on the situation.
