S.O.T just wanted to let everyone know that we are playing the second game of the season this saturday, and that it will once again be held out at Christ the Rock. We also wanted to apologize to those that went to practice this past wednesday, and may have been unable to find us. Due to a mishap in communication it wasn't posted that the practice was more of a season opening meeting that would take place inside. Once again we apologize for this mistake and any inconvenience it may have caused.
Also due to some confusion at the beginning of the '09 season, S.O.T decided to give a brief description of what we do, provide, and require at our free games.
Our regular games are hosted by the Sons of Thunder Paintball Outreach, and "A" Team members. They are 100% Free to EVERYONE as long as they bring everything they need to paintball for the day......

__Our Games__
Our games usually consist of 50 to 100 people ranging in ages from 12 to 65 and all levels of experience from people who never played before to people that have competed at a pro level. We always make sure the teams are even and fair so everyone has a good time.
We usually split everyone into two teams with equal experience on each side and set out to play a range of scenario, military style games lasting about 30 to 45 minutes each. We play the entire day or until everyone is ready to go (about 6 - 10 games a day), ALL woodsball.
__How to get there and when__
We always meet at Scheel’s by the Fox River mall at 10:00 and leave at 10:30 not a minute later, so it’s best to be a bit early. If you know what field we are playing at you can go out there at 10:00, however if you are coming then to help setup or something you might want to let us know.
We have two fields, both are woodsball. Our regular field is about 20 min from where we meet at Scheel’s and our alternate/Training field is about 15 minutes from there. See Our Field page for more details. If you need a ride you can probably get one from Scheel’s to our field but you will also be responsible for finding one from our field home.
You can find out when our games are through several ways. The easiest is to check the schedule on our website. You can also get your email on our email tree or phone number on our phone tree if you don’t have an email. We contact people on both trees during the week prior to the game, usually. Our yearly schedule is also made up in advance so you know what days to ask off of for work, or call in sick for. If there are any cancellations due to weather or other situations, a message will be posted on the website.
If you have any questions please contact us via email at sotpaintball@hotmail.com or call one of the numbers on our contact page.
We are a nonprofit organization and ALL of the proceeds go back to making the experience better for you. Currently all of our staff is on a 100% volunteer basis so as always any help is always welcome and for more information on this subject please contact one of our core team members.
